The metal tail dragged him across the tile, trying to make it harder for him to beat on the main body. The devil twisted around to avoid the plunger to the head, though it wasn't the worst he could have dealt with. He still couldn't define the massive aura that was pinning him down, and with one powerful shove, he managed to push himself to his knees, glaring at the human aura that kept beating him - or trying to with glass balls for eyes.
The boss was not going to be happy.

Suddenly, a powerful force grabbed Tepe and threw him so hard - that regardless of him being a living shadow - it sent him through the wall and into the hallway, leaving a hole. Then, Bruce was grabbed by the hair and slammed into the wall so hard that his nose broke.
Miles had him pinned, his right hand holding him by the hair. His eyes were glowing brightly, and red protrusions were sticking out of his shoulders, puncturing through the trench coat.
"Law of the wild, mortal. A wolf that enters another wolf's domain must bow his head if he doesn't want to be shredded!" In a very angry, celestial voice; Miles shouted; "NOW BOW YOUR HEAD OR YOU HAVE TIL THE COUNT OF ONE TO LEAVE MY CITY!"

Despite the blood streaming down his face, Bruce began to laugh. A sick, insane laugh.
"This is just like the time I was beaten up by a sheik in Karachi for hitting on his daughter!"
He squirmed a little, trying to reach a more comfortable position, given the circumstances.
"You have a point, but I'm just a fucking human being. You want to talk to the real deal, go chat with the friend of mine you just threw through the goddamn wall."
"Hi, grey thing," Tepe said, crawling through the hole in the wall. The chimera sat and stared at Miles cheerfully.

Miles growled at Bruce. "There are 4 chimeras in my city, all four in which have human hosts. And those hosts did as they were told to! You are not exempt!"

Babylon rubbed the back of his head, standing up and brushing himself off. Almost instantly, he kneeled and bowed his head. He uncoiled his tail from Bruce's legs.
"...Sorry for taking so long, sir."

Bruce tried to look over his shoulder at Miles. "How the fuck was I supposed to know that?"

"Were you not told to stop in to see me upon your arrival?!"

"I didn't think it applied to me!"

"If you were told to, then it does! Blissful ignorance is also not an excuse!"

"Excuse me for not being a fucking psychic!" Bruce struggled against Miles's grip. "Who are you?"

"As of right now, the one that's trying to decide whether you live or die." Miles's eyes were still glowing, and so were the 'gems' on the gauntlet.

Bruce stopped squirming to spit out a glob of blood against the wall. "Look," he said, "I'm sorry I didn't obey the rules, but I've never been here before, and I thought I was normal enough. So why don't we pretend this never happened, and I'll go see the boss of this city tomorrow, okay?"

Miles thought for a moment. Then relented hesitantly. "Fine. I will hold you to your word. Your injuries will serve as a reminder."

Babylon snarled, rising to his feet and brushing himself off again. He was displeased, and visibly so. Maybe Miles would let him take a free swing... or several.
