Irritating.
She could now see why she never touched down on human terrain often. They were annoying, irritating creatures. This one was no exception. There would be no joy in smiting him. Her expression hardened, her eyes flaring in anger. The air around her grew hot, and an angry crow burble rumbled in her throat.

And an inhuman voice spoke behind her. "Don't try it."

Almost against his usual rather cautious nature, Bryce trailed after the pair, hackles prickling as he noticed the two rodents. So Miles already knew... Or would at least be informed shortly. He could turn his attention to keeping the little German from getting himself hurt by the strange woman with feathers in her hair. "Ah, excuse me, is there a problem here?" It was hard to keep the tremor from his voice, feeling the growing tension between the pair. Oh dear, this was not going to go well, not at all...
{damnit, I'm always posting late! ><}
Or perhaps maybe his presence wasn't needed after all, as he recognized the new voice and the dangerous tone it held. Still, best to get the German out of this, no need for him to get hurt. As discretely as he could, he tugged gently on the shorter man's sleeve, his eyes never leaving the woman as he made way for Night City. "C'mon, best leave this t'those who can 'andle it..."

Alfons just smiled at her and his eyes began to glow brightly.

She would have gone up in flames, but the voice behind her gave her pause. The feathers in her hair dropped slightly as she turned around. Her anger trickled away, and a soft smile played her lips.
"I did not expect you to show so soon, and for someone so insignificant as I."

Miles stood there, in his full black trench coat and his hands in his pockets. The blue rat, Azelf sat on his shoulder. "How can I ignore you?"

"You've grown so much... Last time I saw you, you were just a child." She mused, tapping her painted nails against her chin. "But now... I think your father would be proud to see the man you've become."

Miles tensed when he heard that, and his expression darkened. He composed himself to calmly answer Alfons's question. "...a friend of the family's."

"Don't worry, I did not come here to herald an assault. I came of my own free will, and without him knowing."
She ran a few fingers through her hair, her aggression slowly fading away to a faint smile.

"Miles....is she dangerous?"

Oh boy, Miles did not look happy. Not that he ever looked pleased... Bryce took a small step back, not wanting to be caught in the middle of whatever fracas might occur. He, too, looked to the red-eyed sovereign of Night City, trepidation and curiosity clear on his face. "Miles?"

"Dangerous is relative." But she was curious... she wanted to know if Miles considered her a threat. It would be good to gauge if she could return to the city.

"Why did you come?" Miles asked her. He and Atreyu had been at each other's throats longer than either man could remember. While he had no ill will toward her, he was still a little untrustful of her.

"I came to see you, your city... I have the right to meet my nephew, and not on your father's terms."
