(oh Alfons, never change)
"A cup of mediocre tea is a trivial thing. There is no need to play to a human world when there is no telling how long it will be here." She said simply before her attention snapped to the motorcycle that had torn by.
The aura had almost knocked her off her feet, despite its brief presence. There were humans that powerful in this city? She held her head, taking one step away from Alfons. Perhaps the choice to see the city first was a bad idea...

Alfons however pouted slightly and he huffed softly. "Zhat may be so...but you still need to pay for dein tea! Vaiters are paid sehr poorly und it is wrong to punish zhem for no reason."

The woman paid him no more mind. Pure he may be, he his words held no power over her, and she had no intention to pay for human needs and goods in the first place. Her attention had drifted to the rest of the city. There was more to see, more to look at. She would not be bothered with something so trivial as a cup of tea.
"Preach to someone who cares to listen, little sparrow. My patience is not infinite." She turned away, starting to fade back into the crowd.

Alfons however bristled and he followed after her without thinking about it. "Hey! If you did nicht pay zhen you should nicht have gotten it!"

She ignored him, walking up the street and away from the little cafe. One human was trivial and insignificant, unnecessary. She did not want to show her true colors, it would draw all sorts of the wrong attention to her. She had seen horrors of human nature, humans and other monsters that stalked the dark.

Alfons of course merely followed after her, pouting despite himself, refusing to let her get away with stealing tea.

Perched on a telephone wire, watching Alfons and the woman in red was a pink, twin-tailed rat.

"Continuing to follow will not end well for you, human. You can not comprehend the power that you are annoying." She said sharply, the feathers in her hair flattening like an annoyed bird.

"I have no obligation to pay for human foods, human nature. Nor do I have any obligation to keep you alive at all."
She turned to face him, her expression cold, betraying her attire. For a human, he was not of any importance, she could most likely leave him as a pile of ashes and no one would notice, or perhaps care.

"You could try." he countered softly. "I have lived through much...und am far older zhan I look."

Her eyes narrowed. This man was no great warrior. He wasn't even close. There would be no pride in incinerating him.
"Go home, boy."

The familiar blue twin-tailed rat jumped on a parking meter and just sat there, watching the exchange between Alfons and the woman.
