"Nothing is given without something received." Coraline replies, fixing the papers on her desk. "I can get your free housing, but I need something in return... if you can get information, and prove to be as valuable as Tucker... I can perhaps see about getting you to cross over completely to the Other Side."

Ulrich pale face fell back into it's usual mask, his dark turning to look at her again. "Clearly zhis vas a vast of time." He sniffed before turning and heading for the door.

"If you dislike my city, then leave it. Otherwise, we make a deal like civilized creatures." She said coldly, her eyes narrowing. "Alfons will never leave you alone otherwise."

"Everyone has something to offer. If your whoring got you information, then you could stay. Or if you find employment in a place to help the city... Either way, Alfons will probably not leave you alone."

"I never said a thing about hospitals. I detest them and children, though the latter is delicious." Coraline said with a small smirk. "Money is trivial, but most of your clients are also people of interest. There is information everywhere."

Ulrich turned to look at her an eyebrow cocked, remembering that little tid-bit about children. Interesting... Having no idea that Phoenixes dinned on such exotic fair, guess they kept that little bit of information out of the usual legends told about Phoenixes. Not that he was one to judge or anything.
"You are clearly keen on more information... But mien clients for zhe most part are not zhe... Vell most are not zhe nicest or law-abiding of beings, nor are many in any possition of power. I do not zhink any information I could gleen from zhem vould be of any interest to you to be honset."

Coraline smirks. "You have no idea."
She brushes her hair over one of her shoulders, her eyes predatory.
"The best information comes from the worst of creatures."
