Ulrich paused on the street outside the bar, his dark eyes narrowing at the establishment before gliding over to the door, then through it, pausing again as he looked around before disappearing. He reappeared a few moments later at the bar, sitting on a stool, and simply waited, clad in simple black form-fitting pants with matching vest and a dark gray shirt as he leaned against the bar behind him, occasionally fading a bit as he listened and watched the other patrons.
Curious about this Phoenix that Alfons had told him about, remembering how insistent the Jewish Doctor had been for him to see her. Something about her being able to blow him up... Needless to say, he was intrigued.

(Welcome to the forums The bartender was not particularly busy, and his eyes glowed at the presence of the undead thing. He stopped cleaning a glass to stride over to the ghost, smiling charmingly at him. Dead. He was right. "You are a new face here, stranger... did you come to see the lady upstairs?"

Hearing the smooth male voice, Ulrich elegantly turned to look the bar keep with a coy smile on his pale doll-like face.
"How did you guess?" He purred, his dark eyes taking in the glowing eyes and the smiling face as he leaned against the bar.
(thanks ~_^)

The demon smirked.
"New otherworldly creatures go no where without introducing themselves to the lady in charge. I'll ring her office."
He turned away long enough to dial on a rotary phone. After a few words, he hung up and nodded. He pointed at the door in the back of the bar.
"She is up the stairs. I suggest knocking first."

Hearing the voice, Ulrich simply passed through the door. Pausing on the other side to look around, his dark eyes taking everything in before settling on the owner of the voice.
"So I take it you are zhe all powerful, Phoenix?" Ulrich asked.

The woman with long red-orange feathers in her hair looked up from her desk. She studied the ghost before her for a moment before she stood, her black hair spilling over her shoulders like ebony water.
"You must be the ghost hooker that Alfons has been so worried about."

Ulrich glided cautiously closer, studying the attractive and powerful woman behind the desk, those feathers were a nice touch... Yes he could sense the power emanating from her. Facinating...
"Madame." He graciously inclined his head in greeting to her before sighing at her words, "He need not be. I need not- nor want help."

"He will give you help whether you want it or not. It's easier to go along with what he does, they're all for good reasons." Coraline said, studying the spirit with her eyes. She ran her fingers through her hair, feathers drifting down on her head.
"But as for you... I do not approve of your activities. They do me no favors. At least Tucker gets information from his whoring."

Seeing that the niceties were over and she was clearly well informed, which made him wonder just how many informants she had in the city. Or if this was just a manifestation of her no doubt increadable power.
He decided to drop the act, his pale doll-like face returning to its emotionless mask, dark eyes giving away nothing. "So unless I can offer somezhing to you in return... I can not continue as I have, nor vill you call Alfons off?"

"Yes. This is my city, everyone plays by my rules. Tucker is allowed to whore himself for heroin because he is the best informant in the city. If you can give me something useful, I will allow you to continue as you were. If not, either find another line of work, or I will send you completely to the other side."
The phoenix did not joke, did not play, and was more than serious when it came to her city, it was clear in her expression.

Except the ghost interest seem to sharpen on her, cocking his head and gliding a little closer, his focus fixed on her. "Can you really? Can you snuff out my existence?"

"Actually... ja." He admitted, one corner of his lips curling up into a rueful smirk. "To be honest I am surprised zhat I am even in existence, being an atheist und all. But I decided to simply except mein fate."
He folded his arms as he let his eyes look over the things on her desk. "I have nozhing to offer und to be honest, zhe main reason I even rented a flat here vas because of Otto... Who I do not need to vorry about any longer. Zhe whoring vas for rent und cigarettes mostly."
