Miles was gone, along with his young lover Emmy. Alfons had been a little sad to see the two of them go but he knew that there was no real way to stop them and so he had merely waved them off, deciding to stay in the city. He could not say why exactly but he found the city to be very comforting for him. And at least here he did not have to deal with explaining to people why he never aged...and never got any older despite it.
There was a new leader now and Alfons thought that it would be best if he took the time to meet them. Once again he baked some cookies and he set out to the new bar with it in his hand, idly swinging it to the side as he went, humming softly to himself as he stepped inside, looking around curiously.
"Hallo?"

The new bar was similar in structure to the club, the colors warm and alive - fake candles 'burning' on the tables and a dark-haired man in a fine tux behind the bar, tending it with a loving sort of care. He looked up at the little jingle of a bell, smiling at the visitor and bowing slightly before straightening up.
"Hello, welcome to Kaliedoscape." He said with a smooth, English accent, smiling a devil's sort of charming smile. "I assume you are here to see the new administration?"

Alfons giggled and he nodded his head at the man. "Ja!" he said happily. "I am! Who are you?" he asked, tilting his head to one side.

The bartender was nothing if not charming, stepping out from behind the bar and bowing respectfully once more - revealing his fine clothes. The light was low enough to hide his demonic shadow, but he seemed friendly enough.
"I am just an attendant to the lady upstairs. My name is Sebastian, and I am merely a bartender. Please make yourself at home. I will notify the lady upstairs."
He moved back to the bar, picking up a phone and calling a number. He spoke a few words that were obviously not in a human tongue before hanging up and smiling.
"You may go up, she is waiting for you." He said, motioning to a discrete door by the stage.

He watched him curiously, smiling faintly to himself as he kept his head tilted to one side. Once he was told to go into the other door he nodded his head and he placed a small parcel of cookies on the counter for the bartender, smiling up at him. "You vill like zhem." he promised him, knowing how people always opened the small parcels to find whatever treat they liked the most.
With that he opened the door, stepping inside.

It was a long set of stairs up to a small entryway where another door stood, the words "Administration" on a brass plaque greeting any visitors.

He looked at the plaque for a moment and he then knocked softly on the door. "Hallo?"

There was a silence before any sort of reply.
"Come in."
A woman's voice answered.

He blinked in surprise at the voice.
It sounded familiar.
With a shrug he opened the door and he stepped inside.

The office was enormous, a large set of glass windows on the far end, behind a desk and a large chair. There were several bird perches here and there, large bookcases and a few human chairs and tables.
Sitting behind the desk was a woman with pale skin and long black hair - with three red-orange feathers sticking out of her head, and dressed in a long red dress. She was going over papers, working diligently.

The woman looked up, her eyes wide briefly before noticing that it wasn't her normal visitor. She stood up, looking at the man for a moment, trying to remember his face. Wait, tea? Oh... It was that human who insisted on trying to make her pay for a single cup of bad tea.
"If you came here just to yell at me in my office, leave. I have no time for such human foolishness."

"And that would be me. Miles left the nest vacant, it is only natural for another bird to move in."

He looked around curiously. "You have all of zhese perches? Do you have birdies?" he asked curiously.
